When clients call Benjamin Roberts Law after an injury, Crystal Mejia is often the first person who helps them feel heard. As a Legal Assistant supporting pre-litigation matters, Crystal works closely with the firm’s attorneys to help manage personal injury cases from start to finish. She coordinates medical and billing records, communicates with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other third parties, and helps ensure that each matter continues moving forward efficiently.

Crystal plays an important role in keeping cases organized and progressing smoothly. Her responsibilities include requesting and following up on medical and billing records, communicating with insurance carriers and third-party representatives, assisting with demand preparation, and keeping clients informed about the status of their case. She is deeply familiar with the firm’s case management systems and plays a key role in maintaining data integrity across the firm’s files. Her attention to detail and consistent follow-through help keep cases on track from intake through demand.

In addition to her work at the firm, Crystal is a full-time student at the University of Houston. While balancing school and her professional responsibilities, she remains dedicated to making sure every case she assists with receives the attention and care it deserves. Crystal is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Outside of work and school, Crystal enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring new places around the city, staying active through pickleball and outdoor activities, and picking up new hobbies and experiences.
